ABVP Sets the Agenda of Development and Transparency in JNU, Focuses on Real Student Issues Amid Leftist Noise

Amid the ongoing JNUSU elections, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has presented a strong, issue-based, and student-centric agenda through its candidates for the posts of Secretary and Joint Secretary. ABVP emphasized that student politics in JNU must move beyond the Left’s negative ideological framework and return to the path of transparency, accountability, and development-oriented politics.

The Joint Secretary candidate, Anuj, stated, “Students at JNU possess immense talent, but the lack of resources prevents them from realizing their full potential. ABVP aims to change this situation. We are committed to reintroducing the sports quota, renovating sports fields and gym facilities, and restoring sports as an integral part of JNU’s identity.”

He further added, “Improving the condition of laboratories for science students, ensuring the availability of modern equipment, and introducing AI-based academic support systems are among our key priorities. Our vision is to transform JNU into a hub of research and innovation, not a platform for ideological experiments.”

The Secretary candidate from ABVP in JNUSU, Rajeshwar Kant Dubey said, “The state of student rights and administrative transparency in JNU is concerning. ABVP believes that dialogue and accountability are essential for a democratic campus. Ensuring student participation in administrative decisions and reviewing insensitive provisions such as the CPO Manual will be among our top priorities.”

He continued, “In recent years, the university has witnessed a decline in transparency and accountability at multiple levels. ABVP will work to ensure clarity in financial and administrative matters so that every decision truly serves student interests. Our objective is not merely to oppose, but to provide constructive solutions.”

ABVP also underscored the need for leadership that prioritizes student welfare above all else from expanding healthcare services and digitizing libraries to launching employment-oriented programs and ensuring transparency in scholarships. With growing student support, it is evident that ABVP’s agenda is built not on slogans, but on a concrete action plan. ABVP envisions a JNU where student politics stands for development, leadership, and accountability not mere protest.

ABVP JNU’s Chief Campaign Coordinator Arun Srivastava said, “We reject the negativity of divisive politics and stand for nationalist thought, inclusivity, and development-oriented leadership. For JNU’s future, ABVP represents a vision that not only raises its voice but also delivers real results.”
