Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has requested all the Chief Ministers to make travel and lodging arrangements for the NEET-JEE aspirants. Restrictions on public transportation due to the ongoing lockdown may cause commute-related problems for aspirants without personal vehicles. Accommodation facilities for students and their accompanying guardians must also be provided to rule out any distraction to the examinees. We hope that governments will come out with the standard operating procedures with regard to such preparations to ensure a smooth and safe examination experience for the students.

Nidhi Tripathi, National General Secretary, ABVP, said, “Lakhs of students are due to appear for the NEET-JEE exams shortly, thereby making it incumbent on the Chief Ministers of all states to make good and proper travel and lodging arrangements for the aspirants. The decision of the Chief Minister of Odisha to make travel arrangements for all the students is commendable and worthy of emulation. ABVP too, being a responsible and sincere student-outfit has established countrywide helpline numbers to make the exams a hassle-free experience for the NEET-JEE aspirants.”
