In just 88 days, Rupesh Makwana completes a Cross-Country run under the auspices of ABVP and PEFI; secures his name in the Guinness Book of World Records

New Delhi :  With the motto of “Save Youth, Save Nation,” cross-country runner  Rupesh Makwana successfully concluded his historic 6000 km run on Saturday at India Gate, Delhi under the aegis of the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s Sports Activities and PEFI.

It is noteworthy that cross-country runner  Rupesh Makwana had set a goal to complete the 6000 km run starting from India Gate, Delhi on February 21, 2023, in 99 days. However, he achieved this feat in just 88 days, crossing 13 states of India and finishing at India Gate itself on Monday. Furthermore, he has registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records for this achievement.

On the occasion of the conclusion of this run, senior officials such as Pradeep Shekhawat, Convenor of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s Sports Activity, Piyush Jain, National Secretary of PEFI, Suresh Makwana (Rupesh Makwana’s father),  Ram Kumar, State organizing secretary (ABVP Delhi) and Harsh Atri, State Secretary of ABVP Delhi, along with other members of ABVP and PEFI were present.
