Valmiki Study Circle organises conversations with Rambahadur Rai on the topic ‘Indian Constitution and Bhārata-Bodha’

Valmiki Study Circle JNU organised its fourth event under the Bhārata Vande
Mātaram Saṃvāda-Series. Rambahadur Rai, President (IGNCA), Eminent Journalist and Author of several books, including his latest ‘Bhāratīya Saṃvidhāna: Anakahī Kahānī’, graced the JNU community with his presence as our esteemed guest speaker for a conversation on the topic ‘Indian Constitution and Bhārata-Bodha’.

Valmiki Study Circle is striving for the Bhāratīyakaraṇa of the popular discourse in JNU since 2019. Bhārata Vande Mātaram Saṃvāda-Series was initiated with the vision to not merely know, but understand Bhārata.

Rambahadur is an eminent journalist. He has several years of experience in journalism, and he is currently the president of IGCA, New Delhi. Sh. Rai was one of the strongest opponents of the dictatorial emergency. He is known for some impressive biographies, written in Hindi, namely Shashwat Vidrohi Rajneta, based on life and acts of Gandhian socialist Acharya J B. Kripalani, Rahvari ke Sawal on Chandrashekhar and Manjil se Jyada Safar on V P Singh.

The book written by Sh. Rambahadur Rai Ji, ‘Bhāratīya Saṃvidhāna: Anakahī Kahānī’ is a masterpiece and a must-read for the readers to explore the unheard stories behind the making of the Indian Constitution. The conversation, which took place at Jawaharlal Nehru University, brought together a diverse audience of intellectuals, scholars, and avid readers throughout the university. The highlight of the evening was an enlightening conversation with Sh. Rambahadur Rai Ji, who shared insights into his research, motivations, and the significance of his work.
