Imphal, Manipur | The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Imphal Mahanagar, organised a grand Tiranga Rally at three different locations across Imphal on the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 3,878 students and young people, showcasing a strong spirit of patriotism, national unity and respect for the Tricolour.
The rally was organised with the objective of inspiring the younger generation to uphold the values of freedom, unity, national integrity and responsibility towards the nation. Students and youth participated enthusiastically, carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere of national pride and enthusiasm across the city. The participation of thousands of students and youth reflected the strong spirit of patriotism among the younger generation of Manipur and their commitment to the ideals of a strong, united and progressive India. The rally also highlighted the importance of remembering the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and recognising the responsibilities that accompany the freedom enjoyed by citizens today.
ABVP Imphal Mahanagar stated that Independence Day is not merely a celebration but an occasion to reflect upon the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters and to reaffirm the commitment of the younger generation towards Nation First. The successful participation of around 3,878 students and youth across the three locations made the Tiranga Rally a significant youth-led celebration in Imphal, conveying a strong message of patriotism, unity and national consciousness. ABVP Imphal Mahanagar reaffirmed its commitment to continuing initiatives that encourage students and youth to contribute positively to society and to the nation-building process.
