Swami Ramdev to be the Chief Guest at ABVP National Conference

68th National Conference of ABVP to be held in Jaipur from 25th-27th November

The 68th National Conference of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is to be held in the ‘Pink city’ Jaipur (Rajasthan), on 25th, 26th and 27th November. The conference will be graced by renowned Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev as the chief guest. Conference will have the presence of students, teachers and academicians from all the provinces across the country.

Delegates attending this conference will deliberate on the current educational scenario, chalk out organisational programs and also discuss the other important issues of the national interest. National conference of ABVP is a significant as well as constructive platform for topics related to education and nation at large. At present, there is a discourse in our nation about ‘Aatmanirbharta’ and ‘Swavalamban’ and this conference of ABVP plans to contribute to this very theme.

The Chief Guest of 68th National Conference of the ABVP Shri Swami Ramdev ji received his primary education in his native village of Haryana. From the age of 14, he enrolled in a gurukul to study Yoga and Sanskrit, he graduated as an Acharya with specialisation in Yoga and Sanskrit Vyakarana. Along with this his studies pertained the Vedas, Upanishads and Indian philosophy, he was also inspired by Maharishi Dayanand’s life and writings. Swami Ramdev ji has greatly contributed to the international acceptance of Yoga, an integral component of Bharatiya knowledge tradition. Through the Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust, he has encouraged people of Bharat to re-engage in Swadeshi movement.

Nidhi Tripathi, the national general secretary of the ABVP stated that, “We are witnessing a paradigm shift in education field in post-Corona situation. There is a need of re-establishing self reliant mechanisms in health and all sectors of economy. The example of Swadeshi model of health and economy set by Swami Ramdev ji will surely inspire the delegates at the conference. We hope that this conference will usher a constructive direction to the education sector and national concerns.
